10 years of Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades in Milan

The French luxury brand is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Objets Nomades collection with a multiple homage to the return of Milan’s bien vivre. For this purpose, the exhibition in the Garage Traversi shows more than 60 pieces of furniture and objects by 14 designers who combine their creativity with the “Art of Travel” philosophy of Louis Vuitton. Scattered around the city are also numerous kiosks that display Louis Vuitton’s signature city guides like a colourful extension of the exhibition.

Classic and brutalist at Hermès at Fuorisalone

As every year, Hermès takes over La Pelota in Via Palermo for a gigantic design spectacle in 2022. Inspired by brutalist water towers, Hervé Sauvage and Charlotte Macaux Perelman have recreated four voluminous wooden structures. Covered with translucent coloured paper, the quartet glows in the huge dark room. Hidden inside are the latest furniture and accessories.

The Gucci Garden appealing to all senses

The historic Palazzo della Mercanzia in Florence is recently home to the Gucci Garden Galleria exhibition spaces, curated by critic Maria Luisa Frisa. Divided into a series of themed rooms, the exhibition invites visitors on a journey over two floors. The starting point is the ‘Guccification’ room. The different rooms deal with the naming, identity, customers and narratives of the brand. In ‘Ephemera’, the sensory journey ends in an environment that tells the story of the house – composed of objects, videos and memorabilia.
