To keep that barrier as low as possible, the people behind the aid organisation STELP in Stuttgart set up a non-profit café and bar called Café Natan, where donations are collected in a playful way. Because all profits go directly to STELP, to help wherever help is needed most urgently.
So we thought: if we're going to host an after-work event, Natan is the only right location for us. On 20 July we brought along not just a crowd of cheerful guests but also our charity bags. The fabric for the bags was rescued from the bin by Wissinger GmbH, Jan Micha Gamer designed the zero-waste cut and the Caritas Lederschmiede sewed them. The proceeds go to the aid organisation.

After work hardly gets better than this: doing good, coffee, snacks, drinks, music and people, people, people. We'll definitely be repeating it soon. Natan is still something of an insider tip, so why not hold your next coffee catch-up there. There is a risk you'll want to keep coming back — that's what happened to us. And if you want more, do as we did: call Natan and plan your next event together. Worst case, something equally good comes out of it ;).
